Object description
The agricultural enterprise "Gut Godems" is a rounded grassland farm with approx. 72 hectares, of which approx. 68 hectares are grassland and approx. 3.5 hectares are arable land. Since 1995 the farm has been managed as an organic farm. Originally horses were successfully bred here. For a breeding and training farm all buildings (stables, riding hall, foundation for a riding arena) as well as extensive pasture land are available. The building substance (housing and stable buildings) has a high need for renovation. Approximately 23 hectares of the existing grassland are used for compensatory land under the ecopoints system. Approximately 220,000 points are subject to purchase and can still be utilized.
Large roof areas as well as possibly parts of the grassland areas are suitable for the development of a renewable energy concept with solar or photovoltaics.
Location
The grassland farm and former recognized horse breeding farm is located 8 km outside of Parchim in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim. To the north of the property is the Sternberger Seenlandschaft, and to the southeast is the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. The former horse breeding farm is located only a few kilometers from the Parchim junction on the A24. The city of Schwerin can be reached by car in about 45 minutes via the A24. Berlin is about two hours away and, depending on traffic, downtown Hamburg can be reached in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Shopping facilities for daily needs, schools, doctors and pharmacies are available in the nearby town of Parchim. From here, the cities of Ludwigslust and Schwerin are also very easy to reach by public transport.
